Another, famous clothing is 'gamuchha', which the working people put on shoulder, used for wiping one's body or tying it around the head as turban when necessary. Even lungi is worn by men folk as an informal wear in home as they find it comfortable. Normally boys wear shirts, shorts, pants, jeans etc and girls wear vests and frocks. Women wear modern saris and salwar kameez and the men wear suits. With the advent of time Orissa people have taken to modern dressing, they have discarded the traditional wear. Sleek ornaments are very much in fashion now-a-days. Even though different districts have their own style of dress still more or less they are the same.
