These days everyone in India seems to hear about “bird flu”. The disease which has surrounded most of the parts has severely affected poultry sector mainly in eastern part including Orissa. As the poultry is getting cheaper everyday, Government is gearing up culling infected birds. Central government has taken the decision of culling birds in the areas bordering West Bengal as the flu spreading through rapidly in eastern part. One primary reason for the bird flu is lack of awareness about the virus that cause the disease. It has seriously affected the eating habit of oriya people.
